William Tomasso

Born and raised in New Britain, CT, attended high school at Kingswood-Oxford, and did a year abroad attending school in Florence Italy focused on language and entrepreneurship. Upon return to the US, graduated from Babson College in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. 

Bill began working at the early age of 12 at Tunxis Country Club. While in high school and college he worked at Tilcon, as a Laborer and then a driver, in the Paving division. Upon graduation, he joined the Family business working with his father and his three brothers in the Construction Real Estate Development business units. Bill and his brothers founded Tunxis Management Company and TBI Construction Company. 

Bill has been an active volunteer and Board of Director at OIC of New Britain for many years. He has served on the Boards of Directors of New Britain General Hospital and many local non-profit organizations including Junior Achievement of North Central Connecticut, the New Britain Chamber of Commerce and the Boys and Girls Club of New Britain.

Opportunities Industrialization Center (OIC) of New Britain is a non-profit (501(C)(3) nonprofit organization providing community services through federal, state and local funding sources. We are committed to helping those with barriers to self-sufficiency through our Young Adult Workforce Development initiatives as well as provide youth career awareness and readiness programming to middle and high school students.
