Cooking is his passion, and we are proud to share that he has been accepted into Johnson and Wales College in Rhode Island into their culinary program.
Jeliany’s DeJesus - “Jelly” as we call her is a Sophomore at NBHS who has been with OIC since 8th grade. Jelly never causes any trouble or drama. All students get along well with her. She volunteers her time on days when she is not attending the program herself from mentoring the middle school youth, to serving dinner to the students and she helps run the candy counter. She is also a great listener, and she has a caring relationship with her peers, and she gives them positive advice. Jelly embodies the true spirit of OIC, and she has been a pleasure to have as part of the OIC family.
Angelo Poteat - Is an 8th grade student at DiLoreto School. He has been with OIC since 6th grade and is one of three siblings who have been participants in the OIC programs. Angelo gets along with everyone and has become a leader amongst his peers. He has been a viable asset to our program and is a pleasure to have as a member of the OIC movement.
